Hotel Schweizerhof - Engelberg

Excellent location for skiing!

This location was great and fantastic, so close to railway station and the ski school, Titlis cable car and many restaurants. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a storage and a writing desk inside the room. The place had a family atmosphere.

i had a very very good stay and can't wait to go back, thank you. i loved this hotel, it was clean and pleasant. excellent location, the staff where flexible.

The hotel has so much potential, yet there was no restaurant and a lack of basic room amenities like a kettle. It seemed like they forgot that I deserve an upgrade for all the trouble I went through. I almost gave a great review, but just couldn't get past these glaring issues.

The hotel needs renovation and renewal

The breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of different options. Our room was nicely furnished and new-fashioned, had feather pillows. Location: the hotel was very close to the train station and skibus stop, the mountain in the morning, and restaurants. Found Restaurant Tuifelsstei 5 minutes walk from the property, dined there.

An lovely family getaway

Our family enjoyed a spotlessly clean room with lovely mountain views! The staff were extraordinarily cute and went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable, especially during breakfast.

The hotel is located right next to the train station. Very friendly staff. Very clean and breakfast was good (included in the price). They actually had everything customised and ready for us when we reached the hotel. Excellent views of the mountains from the balcony of the room.

He hotel staff was very friendly and spoke good english. The family room was big, almost like a small ny apartment, and was at the end of the corridor so there were not so many guests around you to worry about if your baby cries at night. The location was central and breakfast was very good. You get easy access to the main lifts in about 5 min walking distance. The train station is also 1 min away from the hotel. Parking for guests is also for free and it is right behind thehotel allowing direct access.

When they have big groups dinner is usually not served to others so you have to look for a restaurant outside of the hotel. Not a problemn though as there are plenty around due to the hotel's central location. The Wireless did not work for some reason even though we managed to connect tothe wifi network of the hotel.

Excellent family size rooms and breakfast was great.

This place knows how to impress! The breakfast had a great variety, including delicious scrambled eggs and bacon. I was thrilled with the spacious room that had a cozy little seating area and a fine view from the balcony. The staff were super friendly and always greeted us with a smile.

Hotel offers really good value for money, the staff is friendly and very helpful. As the plus one can recognize the location of the hotel which is right in the heart of Engelberg

Absolutely fantastic place, I loved attentive personnel.

The restaurant was good for dinner, I tried delicious dishes. Unbeatable and absolutely perfect location, it was close to a train station.
